Indian team: Asia Cup starting from September 9

Before the announcement of the Asia Cup squad, many Indian players had reached COE for their fitness test, including players like Hardik Pandya, Ishan Kishan, Abhishek Sharma. Suryakumar Yadav, who is the captain of India in this Asia Cup, also passed the fitness test here, because he recently had a hernia operation, after which it was important to know his fitness whether he would be able to play this tournament or not.
This camp in Bengaluru has been organized to know the injury status and fitness level of the players, especially when we look at India’s busy schedule. Immediately after the Asia Cup, they have to play a limited overs series against Australia, then there is a match against South Africa, and in the year 2026 they will also have to remain fit for the World Cup.
