South Africa wins WCL 2025, beats Pakistan by 9 runs in final: The final match of the World Championship of Legends 2025 was played in Birmingham last night. In a thrilling match, South Africa Champions defeated Pakistan Champions by 9 wickets and won the title.

WCL 2025: AB de Villiers made the match one-sided with his stormy century and gave South Africa victory. He played a brilliant innings of 120 runs in just 60 balls. De Villiers hit 12 fours and 7 sixes in his innings. Pakistan reached the final after India boycotted the semi-final match, while South Africa defeated Australia to make it to the title match.

WCL 2025: Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. His start was not good and Kamran Akmal returned to the pavilion on a score of only 14 runs. Pakistan lost the second wicket in the form of Mohammad Hafeez.

WCL 2025: Opener Sharjeel Khan scored 76 runs while playing a brilliant century innings. Apart from him, Umar Amin played an unbeaten innings of 36 runs. Pakistan scored 195 runs after losing five wickets in 20 overs. South Africa’s Hardus Viljoen and Wayne Parnell took two wickets each while Dwaine Olivier got one wicket.

South Africa had a good start while chasing the target of 196 runs. Opening the innings with Hashim Amla, AB de Villiers added 72 runs for the first wicket. Amla became the victim of Saeed Ajmal. After this, South Africa did not lose any wicket and scored 197 runs in 16.5 overs.

De Villiers played an unbeaten innings of 120 runs which included 12 fours and 7 sixes. He thrashed the Pakistani bowlers while batting at a strike rate of 200. JP Duminy also supported him well. He hit his fifty in 28 balls. Ajmal was the only successful bowler for Pakistan.

De Villiers was selected Player of the Match as well as Player of the Series for his brilliant performance. He scored a total of 429 runs in WCL. Due to De Villiers’ century, South Africa defeated Pakistan by 9 wickets and became champions.
