ENG vs IND Test Series 2025: India’s youth team has reached the current tour of England under the captaincy of Shubman Gill. The way it was being said that this team would prove to be a big flop, but playing against expectations, the team has troubled the British a lot. But perhaps the hosts are not able to digest this. That is why the British are constantly trying different tricks.

ENG vs IND: When the players and team members of England are not able to suppress the Indian youth through sports, they are trying to give knowledge by citing game spirit with different tricks. On the one hand, Indian players are teaching a lot of lessons to the hosts through sports, while on the other hand, the British are trying to teach the Indian team a lesson with their unique behavior and isolated propaganda. The latest incident of this was a heated debate between head coach Gautam Gambhir and pitch curator at the Oval.
ENG vs IND: Is this England’s Game Spirit?

ENG vs IND: If we go back a little before this incident to the last moments of the last day of the Manchester Test, then England’s captain Ben Stokes was hoping that Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja should draw the match by joining hands 15 overs before the match. But when both of them did not agree, Stokes started saying that he was doing this to complete a personal milestone i.e. a century. Not only this, he also told Jadeja that now he will score a century in front of Brook.
ENG vs IND: Just look at the audacity of the English captain that when you yourself could not take wickets and the match which was already won was drawn, then in frustration you started blaming the brave Indian players. Is this called game spirit? Where was England’s game spirit when their own captain was targeting the broken leg of Rishabh Pant who came to play limping. Not only this, his finger injury was also being targeted at Lord’s.
When Pant came to Bat with a fractured Leg, every @ECB_cricket Bowler tried to dismantle his foot with fiery delivery, trying to hurt an already injured batter by deliberately bowling on his legs. Bumrah bowling bouncer to Anderson was problematic to them but not this

ENG vs IND: Then how can we forget the trick of Jack Crowley who made an excuse of injury in the Lord’s Test. Where were the people of England who show game spirit when Harry Brook and Ben Duckett were telling Jadeja that he does not deserve to be in this Test team. Perhaps now you must have understood when the same Jadeja snatched a won match from under their nose, got it drawn and scored a century.
Is this the way the British are treated in India?
ENG vs IND: In our India, the culture of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava‘ is taken very seriously. If any foreign captain or his players come here, they can go near the pitch and inspect it completely before the match. But the pitch curator at Kennington Oval stops the support staff of India from even doing this. Salute to our coach Gautam Gambhir who raised his voice against this and explained to the curator Lee Fortis about his work in a very precise manner.
Not letting Gautam Gambhir and co near the square at the Oval – Double standards much? 🤔 #Aakashvani #ENGvsIND pic.twitter.com/NALsH3y7Al

These are the British who give us knowledge even on scoring a century of our right on their land. These are the English who instruct our support staff and players to stay 2.5 meters away from the pitch. Whereas a picture of Brandon McCullum standing on the pitch with the same curator has surfaced. These are the English who constantly try to hit our injured player’s broken leg and injured finger.
Later, these Englishmen teach us the lesson of game spirit. Such behavior is not shown at our home when these Englishmen come. But a lot has been learnt from this tour. Absolutely, Team India and BCCI should remember this behavior and wait carefully for the next British tour to India.
