Tanjid Hasan made the path to victory easy for Bangladesh
Chasing the target, Bangladesh had a bad start and Parvez Hossain got out on the very first ball of the innings without opening the account. From here, the pair of Tanjid Hasan and captain Liton Das together took the score to 74. Liton scored 32 runs in 26 balls with the help of two fours and a six.
After this, Tanjid was joined by Tauheed Hridoy and both of them made an unbeaten partnership of 59 runs for the third wicket and gave their team victory. Tanjid played an unbeaten innings of 73 runs with the help of one four and six sixes in 47 balls. Tauheed also returned unbeaten after scoring 27 runs in 25 balls. Nuwan Tushara and Kamindu Mendis took one wicket each from Sri Lanka’s side.
