In the third and decisive match played in Colombo, the Bangladesh team registered a big win by 8 wickets and captured the series 2-1. Playing first in the match, the Sri Lankan team could score only 132/7 in the entire 20 overs, in response to which Bangladesh scored 133/2 in 16.3 overs and won. This is Bangladesh’s first series win in Sri Lanka.

Tanjid played an unbeaten innings of 73 runs with the help of one four and six sixes in 47 balls. Tauheed also returned unbeaten after scoring 27 runs in 25 balls. Nuwan Tushara and Kamindu Mendis took one wicket each from Sri Lanka’s side.
