The third Test between India and England saw thrill, drama and lots of emotions. Sometimes the match seemed to be in India’s favor and sometimes in the host team’s. In this struggle, the victory finally went to the host. Jadeja and Siraj were present at the crease for the 10th wicket. Both were seen batting sensibly.
Seeing them play at Lords
The spirit of winning was clearly visible in them. Seeing them play at Lords, the fans’ hopes were intact, even if on the edge of a knife. On the other hand, the England team was getting irritated for not taking the last wicket. Captain Ben Stokes had opened all his cards but was not able to contain India. Then he put his spinner Shoaib Bashir on attack.
Jadeja was standing in front. He played two dot balls. Taking a run on the third ball, Jaddu gave the strike to Siraj. Miya Bhai played the fourth dot ball. Everything was going well till here. Then came Bashir’s fifth ball and Siraj’s stumps were shattered. Here not only the stumps but also the hopes of crores of Indian fans as well as Siraj were seen shattered on the Lord’s pitch.

Gives his sweat with the bat
Just look at how broken he felt when he got out like that. 💔
Pure passion. India has found a player as passionate as him after ages.

He froze there at that moment. He sat on the pitch with his head bowed, with the bat in his hand. Looking at him, it seemed that he was very unhappy with himself. Looking at the expressions of the shocked and worried Siraj, it seemed as if he was saying to himself, ‘Oh God, what has happened, why did it happen? We could have won at Lord’s. Only 22 runs were to be scored. Why did my wicket fall?’ Seeing Siraj, England’s Harry Brook and Joe Root showed sportsmanship and came to him and took care of him. Both the English players shook hands and congratulated Siraj.
Let us tell you that Siraj along with Jadeja shared a 17-run partnership for the last wicket. He scored four runs in 30 balls. Jadeja remained unbeaten after scoring 61 runs. With the victory at Lord’s, England has taken a 2-1 lead in this series. The fourth Test is to be held at Old Trafford Cricket Ground.
