Shoaib Bashir Ruled out of Remaining Series: In the Lord’s Test, the England team managed to win a spectacular victory against India by 22 runs. However, amidst the celebration of this victory, a bad news is coming out for the England team and fans. Actually, young spinner Shoaib Bashir is out of the series. He will not be able to participate in the remaining matches. Actually, he had injured his left hand finger in the third Test. After the scan, it was found that his finger is fractured. This bowler gave England the last wicket to win the Lord’s Test.

Bashir remained out of the field for most of the time in the Lord’s Test. However, when the team needed him in the fifth day’s play, he came down to bowl on the field. He took the last wicket of the Indian innings in the form of Siraj and led the team to a 22-run victory.

Praising the courage and passion of 21-year-old Shoaib Bashir, England captain Ben Stokes called him “a true warrior”. Stokes said during the post-match presentation,

“Bashir’s coming out on the field despite a broken hand and taking responsibility with the bat and then winning the match by taking the last wicket. Doing this for the team makes him a true warrior.”

If we look at Bashir’s performance in the current series, he took a total of 10 wickets in three matches. Out of these, he took 5 wickets in the Edgbaston Test. Now it will be interesting to see who the England team includes as Bashir’s replacement.

The fourth Test will start from July 23

The fourth match of this series between India and England is to be played in Manchester from July 23. This match will be a do or die one. A defeat will put them out of the race to win the series. On the other hand, England will try to win the match and gain an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series.
