SL vs BAN 2nd T20I: Losing the toss and batting first, Bangladesh had a bad start and in the very first over, opener Parvez Hossain got out without opening the account. The second opener Tanjid Hasan also could not show anything special and went out after scoring 5 runs. From here, captain Liton Das and Tauheed Hridoy took the innings forward and made a half-century partnership for the third wicket and took the score to 76. Tauheed played an innings of 31 runs in 25 balls.

SL vs BAN 2nd T20I: However, Mehdi Hasan Miraz could not do anything special and got out after scoring 1 run. Liton completed his half-century and played an innings of 76 runs in 50 balls before getting out. In the last overs, Shamim Hossain helped Bangladesh reach a good score by scoring 48 runs in 27 balls. Binura Fernando took the maximum three wickets for Sri Lanka.

While chasing the target, Sri Lanka did not have a good start and lost 4 wickets in the powerplay itself. Opener Kusal Mendis was out after scoring 8 runs.
