India’s star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant created history by scoring a century in the second innings of the first Test being played against England in Leeds. 27-year-old Pant completed 100 runs in 130 balls with the help of 13 fours and 2 sixes on the fourth day on 23 June 2025. In the first innings, he scored 134 runs in 178 balls with 12 fours and 6 sixes. With this performance, Pant became the first Indian cricketer to score a century in both innings of a Test in England.

Pant has a unique world record to his name. He has become the first wicketkeeper batsman in the world to score a century in both innings of a Test against any country on foreign soil.
