Bumrah further said – After this I spoke to those who can manage it behind me. So, we came to the conclusion that we have to be a little more smart, then I called the BCCI that I do not want to be seen in the leadership role, as I will not be able to play all the Test matches.
The BCCI was looking at me in the leadership role, but I had to refuse them for this. Because it is not ideal that someone captains in three Test matches and someone else in the remaining two. So it is not right for the team, because I put the team first. So, I took this decision.
