Chasing the target, Gujarat’s team looked full of confidence from the beginning. The opening pair of Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan did not give any chance to Delhi bowlers to take wickets and made a match-winning partnership of 205 runs for the first wicket. Gill scored an unbeaten 93 runs with the help of 7 sixes and 3 fours while facing 53 balls. At the same time, his partner Sudarshan remained unbeaten after scoring 108 runs. His innings included 12 fours and 4 sixes.
In this way, GT achieved this target in just 19 overs without losing any wicket. This is the first time in the history of IPL that a team has achieved a target of 200 runs without losing any wicket.
