Shreyas Iyer’s team gave a tremendous all-round performance and defeated LSG by 37 runs. Batting first, Punjab team scored 236 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. In the reply innings, Lucknow team was able to score 199/7 after playing the entire over. In this way, Punjab team managed to win the match in Dharamshala after a long wait of 12 years. The hero of this victory for Punjab was explosive batsman Prabhsimran Singh.

PBKS vs LSG: There was a 78-run partnership for the third wicket between Iyer and Prabhsimran. Iyer was dismissed after scoring 45 runs off 25 balls with the help of 4 fours and 2 sixes. Batting in a stormy manner, Prabhsimran was a bit unlucky. He missed out on completing his century by just 9 runs. Prabhsimran played an innings of 91 runs off 48 balls.
