Ireland Announced Squads White Ball Matches Against West Indies: Men’s international cricket is going to start again in May. Many big teams were on a break due to IPL 2025. However, now international cricket is about to start and in this episode, Ireland has to play ODI and T20 series against West Indies at home, for which the Irish squad has been announced on Wednesday. Regular captain Paul Stirling will lead both the squads, while Lorcan Tucker will be seen as his deputy.
West Indies: Ireland has not included Mark Adair in its ODI squad, who is currently battling injury. However, he has been kept in the T20 squad and is expected to be fit by the start of the series. Apart from this, Ben White and Ross Adair will also play only T20 series, as they have not been included in the ODI team.
West Indies: Uncapped players also got lucky
West Indies: Ireland has selected a total of 3 uncapped players in both their squads, who are also likely to make their debut. Cade Carmichael (right-handed batsman), Tom Mayes (fast bowler) and Liam McCarthy (fast bowler) have got a chance. Carmichael and Mayes will play only ODIs while McCarthy has been included in both ODI and T20 teams.

Let us tell you that for the first time since the year 2019, the West Indies team will be seen playing in Ireland. The ODI series will be played first between these two teams, which will be from 21 to 25 May and after this there will be a three-match T20 series from 12 to 15 June. There is a two-and-a-half week gap between the two series due to West Indies’ tour of England during that period.
