Both the fast bowlers made their limited overs debut before making their Test debut. Bumrah made a huge impact with his consistent good performance before making it to the Test format. Siraj, on the other hand, was yet to prove himself and was not sure to play in the limited overs team.
The styles of both the bowlers are quite different. Bumrah’s skill in Test matches ranges from setting the batsmen with precision to dodging them consistently. He not only swings the ball, but also troubles the batsmen with his speed. Talking about Siraj, his aggressive line and use of the short-ball has brought him immense success. Siraj is also a great expert of reverse swing.

Both have been used by captains in different ways. Bumrah has been used to bring success in short spells. This does not mean that Bumrah has not bowled long spells. However, his injury-prone bowling action is one of the main reasons for captains not bowling him consistently. On the contrary, Siraj has been a great bowler to maintain pressure from one end.
Overall, both Bumrah and Siraj have been valuable players for India and true cricket fans know the importance of both. After all, both make a deadly pair when bowling in tandem.
