In the deciding Test of the series, which was played at the Oval ground, Siraj bowled the best of his career, taking a total of 9 wickets. In the first innings, he took 4 wickets for 86 runs and in the second innings he opened the claws for 104 runs, with the help of which India won that match by 6 runs.
