WTC: Jasprit Bumrah of India was the first fast bowler to take a hat-trick in the World Test Championship. Bumrah did this in the match played in Kingston during the tour of West Indies in the year 2019. He dismissed Darren Bravo, Shamrah Brooks and Roston Chase on three consecutive balls in his one over during the first innings of West Indies.

3. Naseem Shah
Pakistani fast bowler Naseem Shah has also achieved the feat of taking a hat-trick in WTC. Naseem achieved this feat in the first Test played during Bangladesh’s tour of Pakistan in 2020. In the Test match held in Rawalpindi, Naseem took the wickets of Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Taijul Islam and Mahmudullah.
2. Gus Atkinson
English pacer Gus Atkinson took a hat-trick in the Test match held in Wellington against New Zealand in the end of 2024. Atkinson had dismissed Nathan Smith, Matt Henry and Tim Southee during this period.
